Beck Jones is a costume designer originally from Indianapolis, Indiana but currently goes to Parsons The New School of Design in New York City. He began theatre as an actor with Young Actors Theatre but soon got interested in costume design. In 2012 he designed his first show with Young Actors Theatre ‘The Little Mermaid’ and in 2013 ‘The Witches’. In the 2014-15 season Justin Wade brought Beck on as the Head Costumer with Young Actors Theatre (2014-2017) along with Connie Alonzo as a mentor. His work quickly caught the eye of many in the surrounding Indy area including Wish-TV, WFYI NPR, and PATTERN Magazine where he was then featured in vol. 8 in the fall of 2015. Later that year he then founded “The 7th Artistry” with Fiona Dwyer which was aimed at creating 8 original shows inspired by classic fairytales put up around the Indy area including IndyFringe Fest 2016 and 2017, which made the top 10 list of shows to see. Recently his work has been featured with the 2017 and 2018 Indianapolis 500 SnakePit Ball. Along with Blair St. Clair from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 . And a partnership between Goodwill and PATTERN magazine for their 14th volume. Recently Beck won the Bridezilla’s WeTv Wedding Dress contest in March 2019 in New York City.
